Building Strong Queensland Partnerships
The team at Stockwell has been creating prosperity since 1952, evolving from its origins in construction to the solid multidisciplinary business that it is today, spanning development, investment, design, construction, sales, and ongoing property management for residential, leisure and retail projects. A true cross generational business, Stockwell delivers its pipeline of projects through operational excellence, risk management and a focus on strategy, time, and cost.
Stockwell has played a vital role in regenerating West End over the past 16 years, with $590 million invested in 16 residential buildings delivering over 700 apartments to the local community. The strength of the Stockwell brand is built on generations of business expertise and property solutions. Partnering with Queensland businesses and suppliers to invest in the future of their home state, integrity and relationships remains Stockwell's most enduring legacy.
Stockwell signed a construction contract with Hutchinson Builders to deliver its Croft & Cremorne on Fish Lane project located in the heart of South Brisbane. The entire project will include 124 apartments with ground floor retail, basement parking and a whole floor recreation precinct. Queensland based and Australia's largest privately owned construction company, Hutchies, brings over a century of experience to the project. Continuing to go from strength to strength since 1912, Hutchinson’s has built over 7500+ projects including some of Queensland’s most iconic such as Howard Smith Wharves, Paradise Centre Surfers Paradise, and The Star Gold Coast.
The progress on Croft & Cremorne has been remarkable, with the construction team continuing to make considerable progress. The buildings are starting to rise out of the ground, and over the next few months, the two towers will truly commence their journeys skywards. The Croft tower is now completely sold out, and limited opportunities remain with the Cremorne tower.
